The Lexi Cinema, Kensal Rise
we love Greene Sundays with The Lexi Cinema

The Lexi Cinema

The Lexi Cinema is an independent cinema on Chamberlayne Road in Kensal Rise, North London. Known for showing quality cinema in a boutique environment, it is also the first cinema of its type to have a social enterprise. They donate 100% of their profits to charity and are staffed predominantly by passionate local volunteers. This means the money they make can go directly towards helping Lynedoch Village, an eco-village in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

The Lexi has a prized place in London’s trendy scene, is frequently mentioned in Vogue, and is the proud owner of both Tracey Emin and Bruce Munro light installations. Due to the popular nature of the cinema and to overcome restrictions on space they have also developed a roaming pop-up cinema during the summer months called the Nomad.

The Nomad Pop-Up Cinema

Since opening our new office in Kensal Rise we’ve been working with the Lexi on some joint ventures. The first of these happened during August and September 2013 when we supported four of the Nomad’s screenings in Queen’s Park.

Greene Sundays

We launched Greene Sundays in 2013 and are proud to see it grow in popularity year-on-year. With our screenings you can enjoy a new release every month at The Lexi Cinema for just £2.50.
