a bake off with kentish town community centre

On Saturday October 24th, 2015 Greene & Co. teamed up with Kentish Town Community Centre for the bi-annual and locally-loved Kentish Town Bake Off. This baking competition was organised to bring the local community together and to raise money for the community centre.

Children and adults showed off their skills with themed decorations, taste and even lactose and gluten free bakes. All the cakes were delicious and it was very difficult for the judges from the Cakehouse and Camden Fair Trade Network to make a decision.

The Deputy Mayor of Camden, Councillor Lorraine Revah, made a special appearance to hand out the gifts to all the winners.

We are pleased to announce the Bake-Off winners:

  1. Best bake: Sarah Howard
  2. Best decorated: Henry Bedoya
  3. Best alternative: Aleksandra Ayvazova
  4. Best junior baker: Charlotte Shaw
  5. Cake with the most fair trade ingredients: Aleksandra Ayvazova

The Best in Show went to Henry Bedoya with his Pineapple Pumpkin Cake.
